Shirley J. Cowger, 62, of Indianapolis, died Monday, October 13, 2008. She was born on July 30, 1946
to Fred and Margaret Floyd Key. She was retired from the Value City Department storeand was a member
of the American Legion, Indianapolis. She enjoyed dancing and playing bingo. She was a hard worker
and was a mother of everyone in the neighborhood. She will be greatly missed. Survivors include her
children: Tony (Jean) Cowger, Melissa (Mike) Hash, Brandon (Amber) Gooley, Dana Gooley, nine
grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother: Richard Key, sister: JoAnn Jones.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Saturday, October 18, 2008 at Forest Lawn Funeral
Home, 1977 S. St. Rd. 135, Greenwood, IN. Visitation will be on Saturday from 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM.
Memorial contributions may be made to: American Heart Association.
I miss you so much mom, I know you're better now & not in pain anymore, getting to run like you
haven't been able to in years, running around with Joanne, Richard, drinking with Debbie, smacking
Bob... but I still miss you so much. We all love you!
